Josephine “Joann”‘s Obituary Josephine “Joann” A. Muscarello, 71, of Bushkill, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, after a short illness. She was the widow of Richard J. Muscarello who died April 1, 2018. Born on December 22, 1947 in East Northport, NY, she was a daughter of the late Amato and Rose (Famiglietti) Macedonio and lived Pennsylvania since 1976.

Surviving are three children, Joseph Muscarello and wife Jennifer of New Providence, NJ, Anthony Muscarello and wife Maureen of Pearl River, NY, and Donna Sokolowski and husband Mark of Bushkill; six grandchildren, Kara, Christopher, Courtney, Andrew, Joseph and James; two brothers, Carmine Macedonio and Dominic “Mickey” Macedonio both of Florida; a sister, Kathleen Kattau of Long Island, NY; and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be from 5:00 to 8:00PM on Friday, February 8, at William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Services will be held on Saturday, February 9, at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, 78 Ridgeway Street, East Stroudsburg; where a viewing will begin at 11:00AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at noon with Monsignor John A. Bergamo as celebrant.

Private cremation will follow with burial at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www. lls.org.
