Milagros Bravo April 21, 1927 – February 4, 2019 Milagros Bravo passed away at the age of 91 on Feb 4, 2019 in Deer Park, TX with loved ones by her side. Milagros was born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico on April 21, 1927 to Ciprian Martinez and Paula Colon. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Bravo and is survived by her sister Eliezer Bravo.

Milagros grew up in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. At a very young age she learned the importance of hard work as she worked in the Tobacco and Sugar Cane fields with her mother Paula. Eventually, she met her husband Juan Bravo and in the early 1950’s they decided to embark on a journey together and moved to New York City.

During their 40 years in the city, they raised their daughters, became business owners and were well known and loved in the community. In 1991 they decided to retire to Casselberry, FL to be closer to family. Milagros was a loving soul and caretaker who saw the good in everyone.

She loved to sit, talk and tell stories from her past. The most important thing to her was her family. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters Mayra, Madelyn, and Myrna.

She was adored by her five grandsons: Orlando Antonio Oliver “Tony,” Juan Carlos Cruz “Rocky,” Francisco Jovanni RuaVera, Miguel Antonio Cruz, and Richard Macintosh Jr. Her legacy will live on in those that she has left behind as her stories will be shared with her great grandchildren Cayden Anthony Cruz and Nova Mila RuaVera. A short service (no viewing) for family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM on February 11, 2019 at In His Presence Fellowship, 1202 E. P Street, Deer Park, Texas.
