Kashmir Anttonette-Rayne Kisting, 20 months old, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at 2:38 PM in her mother’s arms after a long, courageous battle with Neuroblastoma (Childhood Cancer), surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 3rd, 2016 in Madison, WI. The daughter of Kristina M Kisting and John L Marshall II.

Kashmir is further survived by her mother; Kristina M Kisting; step-parent Amanda (Alex) Mumma; her father John L Marshall II; a fur sibling, Rebel; maternal grandparents Lorie A Parsons and Ronald D Kisting Jr; maternal great grandparent; Nancy Kisting; paternal grandparent; Amy Harris, many other cousins, aunts and uncles.

Kashmir is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ronald D Kisting Sr; paternal great-grandparents: Mildred and LeRoy Harris; great-aunt Sharon M LaMore; and cousin Stephan D LaMore. A special Thank You to my mother; Lorie Parsons, for being by mine and Kashmir’s side as she fought her way through this Childhood Cancer journey until the very end. I couldn’t have done this journey without you.

A special Thank You to the entire medical staff at American Family Children’s Hospital. The phenomenal love and care of the staff during this journey, the invaluable bonds that were formed were precious. The nurses and doctors of P4 Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant became family during her multiple hospital stays.

Thank You to her entire P4 family with special mention of her primary Nurses; Jenny Schrimpf and Katy Remler; Nursing assistants; Christine Behling, Amanda Williams and Maria Johnson; her primary oncologist; Neha Patel; her fellow Nick Pytel; NP Lisa, Becky and Katie (Child Life); Other oncologists; Dr. Puccetti, Dr. Kelly Bush, Dr. Hoover-Reagan, Dr. Le; Dr. Iskandar; and her bone marrow transplant Dr. Desantes; and her neurosurgeon Dr. Iskandar. As well as Agrace Hospice out of Baraboo, especially Nurse Amy; RN Cheryl; Social worker; Betty and grief counselor; Stephanie. A funeral will be held on Monday, April 16th, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. at the Pratt Memorial Chapel, Richland Center WI.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 16th, 2018 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 4:00 PM until the time of services at 6:00 PM, with luncheon to follow at the Pratt Community Hall. The luncheon is potluck style. If any followers from her Facebook page Cure For Kashmir plan on coming, please bring a dish to pass.

The family suggests donations be given to American Family Children’s Hospital and Badger Childhood Cancer Network. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences can be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
