Kathleen L. Salentine Our Mother, Katie passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 9 at Cherry Meadows with her family at her side. She was a lifelong resident of Appleton and the daughter of the late Alfred and Victorine (Koerner) Piette.

She married our father, James ‘Sal’ Salentine on May 23, 1964 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Katie retired from Genal Tire Sales in 2001. She will be greatly missed by her daughters: Amy (Dave Kohl) Salentine and her children: Eli, Max and Abby Buss; Ashley (Paul) Elverum and their children: Cooper, Lily and Emerson Elverum; a sister, Bev Dagneau; a brother, Fred (Shirley) Piette and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom lived on her terms and passed away on her terms. She did not want any services and will be laid to rest, privately at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton with our father. We wish to thank family, friends and care givers who have helped our family during this time.
