Obituary for Keith Harris Keith Glenn Harris, 71, of Pittsburg passed away at 8:19 a.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Herrin Hospital. Keith was born March 17, 1947 in Chicago to Donald and Ardine (Graff) Harris. He married Carol Wehling on August 30, 1969 in Oaklawn.

They have shared nearly 50 years of marriage together. Keith was retired having been a correctional officer with the Joliet Correctional Center. He was proud to have been promoted to captain.

After retiring, Keith and Carol moved to Southern Illinois to take advantage of the longer golf season and the beautiful scenery in the area. He attended the Corinth Christian Church. Keith is survived by his wife Carol of Pittsburg; two sons, Lance (Sherry) Harris of Aurora and Eric (Sheree’) Harris of Minooka; five grandchildren, Katherine and Savannah Harris of Aurora, Samantha Harris and her children Danielle and Clayton of Ottawa, Marc and Caleb Harris of Minooka; twin brother, Kenneth Harris; brother-in-law, Robert Wehling of Pittsburg and sister-in-law, Janet (Steve) Bajor of Kankakee.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Edward and Lorraine Wehling. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Robbey Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. For additional information and sign the book of memories, please visit www.
