Larry Dale “L.D.” Bowman, 49, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital on September 7, 2018. L.D. was born on January 22, 1969, in Brazil, the son of Larry Dale Bowman and Linda (Hudson) Bowman. He graduated from Northview High School with the class of 1987.

L.D. worked for Rissler’s Small Engines, National Printing, and most recently Putnamville Correctional Facility. L.D. enjoyed riding his trikes, collecting cars, listening to Kid Rock music, attending yard sales… Read More » and auctions and spending time with his kids. He was a member of the Moose and the El Shaddai Emmaus Community.

He was preceded in death by his mother Linda (Hudson) Bowman Farmer, his son Kasey Bowman, and his beloved pit bull Mabel. He is survived by his son Kodey Bowman (Crystal Westfall); fiancée Kelli Muncie; “step-children” Evan Sturgeon and Amber Sturgeon; grandsons: Zaden James Lee Orman, Trenton Michael Bowman and one on the way and step-father Frank Farmer. He is also survived by close extended family members Melissa Rightsell, Dwayne Payne, and Wendell Payne as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at Lawson – Miller Chapel 1702 East National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 11am until 1:00pm. Services will be at the funeral home, on Tuesday, at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery.
