Dorlene Jo Woodrum, 82, of Brazil passed away on Thursday October 25, 2018 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Clay County, Indiana on September 21, 1936, the daughter of Everett Ray West and Eva Lobdell West. Dorlene was a graduate of Brazil Senior High School, class of 1954.

She married her loving husband, Frank Woodrum on October 20, 1957. Together they have enjoyed 61 years together. She loved to read and was a life member of the Illinois Moose Association and Eastside… Read More » Christian Church.

Dorlene also helped to establish the Brazil Senior Center. She is survived by her husband, Frank Woodrum; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Linda Woodrum; her daughter, Sally Woodrum; grandchildren, Michael Woodrum, Nicole Russell (Ryan) and Katie Auer (David); and great-grandchildren, Taylor Russell and Wyatt Auer. Dorlene is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Harry, Elmer, Everett and Doug West; and a sister, May Hadley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday October 29, 2018 in Eastside Christian Church, 400 East Church Street, Brazil with Pastor Bill Brock officiating. Burial will be in Stunkard Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the church.
