Shirley A. Sonnefield, 82, of Brazil, passed away at Cloverleaf Health Care, in Knightsville, Indiana on November 16, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1935, in Brazil, Indiana the daughter of William Gordon and Marie (Fox) Bennett. She attended Ivy Tech for nursing and worked at Vermillion County Convalescent Center for many years.

She was preceded in death by her son William Billie Sonnefield on July 3, 2014 and 4 siblings: Doris Patrick, Betty Beeler, Jean Hassler, and Bill… Read More » Bennett. She is survived by her daughter Kristy Jensen and husband Arthur Jensen Jr. of Centerpoint; a son Jeff Sonnefield and wife Shonda of Camby, Indiana; 4 grandchildren: Shalie Thompson and husband Matt, Reanne Sonnefield, Sherri Britton and husband Jason, and Eric Jensen and Melissa; great-grandchildren: Nick Britton, Sydni Butts, Renee Jensen and Hailee Beth; a sister Jane Jeffries as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. There are no services planned.
