William “Bill” Frederick DeBoer, 85, of McCordsville, Indiana, passed away at Countryside Meadows, in Avon, Indiana on November 17, 2018. Bill was born on September 5, 1933, in Bridgeport, Indiana the son of Frederick and Emma (Nicholas) DeBoer. He graduated from Decatur Central High School and then Purdue University where he played football.

He also enjoyed hunting – especially raccoons, squirrel, moose, and bear – and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Helena DeBoer; two daughters: DeLena Lynn DeBoer – Stewart and DeAnn DeBoer; step-daughter Laura Marie Wysorki; grandchildren: Hannah Maybaugh, Logan Maybaugh, Briana Vanatti and Brittney Wysocki; and many great-greandchildren. At Bill’s request there are no services planned at this time.
