William “Bill” Frederick DeBoer, 85, of McCordsville, Indiana, passed away at Countryside Meadows, in Avon, Indiana on November 17, 2018. Bill was born on September 5, 1933, in Bridgeport, Indiana the son of Frederick and Emma (Nicholas) DeBoer. He graduated from Decatur Central High School and then Purdue University where he played football.

Bill worked as an insurance salesman and owned and operated Greencastle Livestock Center for many years. He attended Carbon Baptist… Read More » Church. He loved watching sports and spending time outdoors.

He also enjoyed hunting – especially raccoons, squirrel, moose, and bear – and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Helena DeBoer; two daughters: DeLena Lynn DeBoer – Stewart and DeAnn DeBoer; step-daughter Laura Marie Wysorki; grandchildren: Hannah Maybaugh, Logan Maybaugh, Briana Vanatti and Brittney Wysocki; and many great-greandchildren. At Bill’s request there are no services planned at this time.
