Sandra E. Coffman, 71, of Brazil and formerly of Greencastle, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2018 at her home. Sandy was born on April 4, 1947, in Sherman, Texas the daughter of Everett “Curtis” Lanam and Francis (Thomas) Lanam. She married James L. Coffman on October 23, 1982.

She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Francis Lanam, her husband Jim Coffman, and a brother Curtis Lanam. She is survived by her long-time companion James Crane of Brazil; children: Sandra “Little Sandy” Smith and husband Billy of Brazil, Debra “Debbie” Howard and husband Randy of Reelsville, and Derrick Ward and wife Mindy of Greencastle; grandchildren: Natalie Floyd, Jonathan Ashworth, Tim Smith, Shalisa Ziemendorf (Jamie), Samantha Smith, Kaili Smith, Kevin Howard, Lisa Howard, Masey Ward, and Levi Ward; several great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Private services will be held among the family at a later date.
