Courtney Lynn Broady , August 11, 1985 — September 01, 2018

Courtney Lynn Broady, 33 of Brazil, died September 1, 2018. She was born August 11, 1985 in Greencastle, the daughter of Christiane Woodfork Walker and Jesse Walker. Courtney grew up with cousins and grandparents and lots of love.

She graduated from Northview High School, Class of 2004. She began working at Peak Performance and her love for fitness began. She learned more through the National Council on Strength & Fitness.

Her business continued to expand and moved into a new location this past spring on the west side of Brazil. She had a group of loyal patrons who sought out Courtney’s expertise and encouragement daily.

Courtney and Tyler Broady, were united in marriage on August 8, 2017. Together they have loved and raised their twin girls. Courtney was baptized and was a member of the First Christian Church.

She was a person that was not quick to judge. She reached out to help and support anyone that needed her, with no hesitation. Her group of friends encompassed a large circle of people of all walks of life.

She will be greatly missed. Family that survives include her husband Tyler Broady; their daughters, Hadley and Hayden, age 3; her parents, Jesse and Christiane Walker; father and mother in law, Michael and Tammie Broady; grandfathers, Jerry Woodfork and Jesse Walker; grandmother, Geraldine Buchholz; sister Haley Cooper; sister in law, Tessa and Trent Stearley and their children, Gannon and Renlee Stearley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Woodfork Pearson; her grandmother Hazel Christine Walker; and grandfather Melvin Buchholz.

Services will be held Monday at 2:00pm at First Christian Church, with Pastor Chris Gregg officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary VanCleve Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6pm, at the Lawson-Miller Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Hadley & Hayden Broady Fund, C/O Riddell National Bank, P. O. Box #340, Brazil, IN. 47834, attention Marci Rush.
