Obituary for Larry Dean Reynolds Mr. Larry Dean Reynolds, age 58, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Thursday (February 21,2019) in a Richlands, Virginia Hospital. Born February 18, 1961 in New Jersey, he was a son of the late Estil and Opal Geraldine Gross Reynolds. Larry graduated from Honaker High School then went to work at a sawmill and enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-four years, Sherry Reynolds; one daughter, Vanessa Denise Austin; two granddaughters, McKensey Denise Austin and Priscilla Dawn Austin all of the home; one brother, David Reynolds and wife, Debbie of Swords Creek; one sister, Shelby Reynolds and husband, Cloie of Swords Creek; special caregivers, Curtis Perkins and Brandon Taylor, special friends, Rita Reynolds and Lewis Maxfield, Sr., and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday at the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Perkins and Rev.
Rondo Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Poppy’s Lane Cemetery at Swords Creek, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Brandon Taylor, Jessie Musick, Erik Vance, Gerald Vance, Bryant Compton and Tony Austin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stevie Reynolds, Curtis Perkins and Lewis Maxfield, Sr. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Saturday and Sunday. An evening service will be conducted at 7 PM Sunday with Rev. Stephen Damron.
