Louise May LaFollette, 81, of Baker, WV, died on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center. Louise was born on May 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Jonas and Bertha Jenkins Tharp. She worked for Capon Springs and Farms in Capon Springs, WV as well as National Fruit in Winchester, VA.

Louise attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Baker, WV. Louise married Floyd D. LaFollette, Sr on November 14, 1959 in Winchester, VA. Mr. LaFollette died on August 19, 2008.

Surviving… Read More » are two sons: Floyd D. “Josh” LaFollette, Jr. and Ronnie L. LaFollette both of Baker, WV; a brother: Jonas “Honey” Tharp of Romney, WV; three sisters: Vivian Wymer and Carla Jean Harmon both of Wardensville, WV; Thelma Whitlock of High View, WV; four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son: James Tharp; four brothers: George, Kenneth, Edward, and Arlan Tharp and five sisters: Everene, Mary, Norma, Ellen and Jackie. A graveside service will be held at the Hebron Cemetery near Yellow Spring, WV on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 1 PM.

Officiating will be Bill Barb.
