Obituary of Margaret Morford Margaret E. Morford, age 54, of Addison, NY died Monday, April 9, 2018 at Guthrie Corning Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Margie was born on December 11, 1963 in Corning to Roger and Adeline (Brown) McIlwain. She was a graduate of West High School in 1982, received an Associates from CCC, Bachelor’s from Mansfield, and Master’s from Grand Canyon.

She married David Morford on January 9, 1989 in Painted Post. She was employed by Corning Children’s Center for over 30 years. Margaret loved crafts, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband David; daughters, Jessica (Bradley) Owlett of Corning, Katelyn (David) Morford-Ribble of Campbell, and Paige Morford of Lawrenceville; her mother, A. Jeanne Brown; her father; Roger McIlwain; sister, Patricia (John) Machuga of Savona; brothers, Daniel (Julie) McIlwain of Skaneateles and Mike (Deneen) McIlwain of Painted Post; grandchildren, Darius, Gwenalyn, Lucas, and Cambria; several nieces and nephews; Corning Children’s Center family and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 15th from 12 Noon until 3 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street in Corning, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jim Patton officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
