Marion Loraine Brown, age 90, of Danville, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Brown was born on September 25, 1928, in Ringgold, VA, a daughter of the late, John Beverly Jones and Louise Daniels Jones. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was employed with Dan River Mills as a spinner.

She was married to George T. Brown Jr. who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters, Rose Barker and Vanessa Linden; a son, Gene Walker; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Angela Ann Brown and a brother, William Jones.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Mt. View Cemetery. Swicegood Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Brown family.
