Mary Ella Schooling, 81, passed away at her home on June 22, 2018 surrounded by family and loved ones. Mary Ella was born in Klamath Falls, OR on June 26, 1936 to Joseph E Tipton and Beulah M Slyter. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest with her five brothers, Ken, Joe, Stan, Les and Keith.

Also her sisters Bettie Jo Schwartz, Linda Lee Dow, Sharon Rae Tipton, Dorothy Jean Brandow and Susan Alane Munson. Mary was married to Richard Merle Schooling in Vancouver, WA on August 13, 1955. They had five children, Cliff L Schooling, Karen R Anderson (spouse Terry), Diane E Moore, Deborah M Robertson and Patricia L Schooling.

Mary had a passion for sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren. Also she enjoyed creating adorable stuffed animals for others. Gardening was another great pleasure at her home in Aloha, OR.

Mary also enjoyed the great outdoors; hunting, fishing, and camping with her partner of 46 years, Albert Wright. Mary is survived by her children, ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard M Schooling, mother Beulah M Slyter, father Joseph E Tipton, brother Kenneth Tipton and sister Bettie Jo Schwartz.
