She was born August 11, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mary married Robert Glenn “Bob” Knight on November 2, 1956, in Bethany, Oklahoma.

In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Fox News, discussing politics, and going to the casino. Mary loved animals and enjoyed raising Yorkies. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Lillian (Albertson) Gilley; her husband of nearly 55 years, Bob Knight; a son, Glenn Knight; a great granddaughter, Kate Lewis; a sister, Betty Martin; and a brother, Bud Gilley. Mary is survived by four daughters, Robin Knight Barnard of Mustang, Brenda Knight of Blanchard, Lacey Brown and husband, Clint, of Blanchard, and Dawn Knight of Oklahoma City; two sons, Larry Knight and wife, Wyman, of Blanchard, and Archie Knight and wife, Becky, of Blanchard; eighteen grandchildren, Robbie Knight and wife, Catie, Billy Knight and wife, Kim, Amber Stachmus and husband, Aaron, Amee Lewis and husband, Billy, Lauren Tippitt and husband, Scott, Whitney Lodermeier, Bobby Knight and wife, Kaylee, Curtis Knight and Maegan Stark, Archie Knight, Alishia Hibler and husband, Micah, Sherri Peden and husband, Trevor, Jason Knight, Nanci Eggleston, Morgan Hunt and husband, Jeremy, Wesley Stephens, Madison Stephens, Dawson Brown, and Chansley Brown; nineteen great grandchildren, Keller Tippitt, Marley Lewis, Rosco Lewis, Paisley Stachmus, Graham Stachmus, Trinity Knight, Wyatt Hunt, Brihnlee Hunt, Merik Eggleston, Zepplin Brust, Honor Brust, Jackson Knight, Lillie Knight, Parker Knight, Jaya Knight, Ella Knight, Lili Peden, Layne Peden, and Ryder Ferree; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
