The daughter of Orvalle Fuller and Alma B. (Canary) Fuller, she was born October 2, 1928 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1947 and attended Oklahoma City University with a music scholarship and played in the concert orchestra.

Mary married Robert Wesley Neal in 1947 and they moved to Blanchard from Oklahoma City in 1957. Together they owned and operated a Dairy in Blanchard. Mary was a longtime active member of the United Methodist Church in Blanchard until her health kept her away from church.

She served as the youth director for seven years and taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the Blanchard Extension Homemakers and served in several positions including President. Mary was also a member of the Associated Milk Producers Incorporated Ladies Auxiliary, where she spent many hours helping with the Dairy Princess Pageant.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and watching OU Football. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Bob Neal; one sister, Jeanne Minter; and one grandson, Nathan Neal. She is survived by her three sons, Jim Neal and his wife, Dee Ann, Jerry Neal, and Jay Neal and his wife, Anita, all of Blanchard; six grandchildren, Jennifer Vaughn and her husband Roger, of Washington, Dawn Maack and her husband, Jeff, of Norman, Terrie Thomason and her husband, Kyle, of Norman, Brian Neal and his wife, Sonya, of Michigan, Robert Neal and his wife, Mai, of Hawaii, and Parker Neal and his wife, Amy, of Edmond; fifteen great grandchildren; two sister, Avis Conkle of Bethany and Faith Smith of Arkansas; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 10, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
