Mary W L Fortune Fegan , May 01, 1923 — May 16, 2018

Mary W. (LaFortune) Connelly Fegan, 95 of West Bridgewater formerly of Raleigh, NC Taunton, MA, Hyde Park, MA and Lexington passed away on May 16, 2018. She is predeceased by her late husbands Francis C. Connelly and Albert W. Fegan. Born May 1, 1923 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Albert T. and Mary (Barry) LaFortune.

She is survived by a brother Richard LaFortune of Dunedin, FL and was predeceased by her brothers Albert LaFortune, Jr. and Raymond LaFortune. Mary was a special person to those who knew her. She loved the outdoors, the ocean, parks and especially flowers.

She liked to bike ride and walk and enjoyed quilt making and was quite a good artist. She was a self-sacrificing mother who always put her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren first. Mary loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She will be missed and remembered as a giving person. Mary is survived by seven children Candace (late Paul) Hardy, Francis Barry Connelly, Barbara (Steven) Michaluk, Donna (Fred) Gurley, Mary (Richard Peters) Connelly, Richard (Nancy) Connelly, and Christine (Peter) Stetkiewicz; 18 grandchildren James and April Connelly, Eric and Kevin Michaluk, Elijah, Donna Late Shane Gurley, Sharon Gurley (Antonio) Carona, Frank Figueroa, Jeremy Connelly, Keilen Peters, Corinna, Melissa, Benjamin and Angelina Connelly, Kristen Connelly (Steve) Clayton and Nicole and Brandon Stetkiewicz; 11 great-grandchildren Elijah, Elaijah, Shane, Shilo, Anthony, Vianna, Leif, Liberty, Coral, Mannix and Ella; 2 great-great-grandchildren Neiko and Tre. “Till We Meet Again” A Memorial Talk will be given on Saturday May 25, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton, MA.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 10:00 Am at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, 499 Spring Street, Dighton, MA 02764.
