Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Nancy Ann Archibald, age 72, Lawton, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Lawton.

She was born February 22, 1946 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Turnace and Anna Lee Brown. She grew up in Lawton and attended most of her schooling at St. Mary’s School; however because of her father’s military career she attended parochial schools in Miami, Florida and Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated high school in Panama.

She later attended college at the Canal Zone Junior College, Cameron Junior College and Oklahoma State University. Nancy married Walter David Archibald on January 26, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nancy worked as a child care giver in the child care center at Fort Sill and also at child care centers in Puerto Rico and Germany.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; four children, Dan Archibald and wife Beth, St. Charles, Missouri, Chrissy Brewer and husband Butch, Prosper, Texas, Ted Archibald and his friend, Christy Morris, Yukon, Oklahoma and Cathy Fox and husband Mike, Orlando, Florida; eight grandchildren; a half-brother, Duane Wright, Miami, Florida and a half-sister, Beth Wright, Austin, Texas. Her parents and a sister, Debbie Brown Ford, preceded her in death.
