Nancy June Woodward Hill April 08, 1951 – January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Nancy June Woodward Hill will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Cowan, Pastor of MYChurch, Mustang, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Letitia Cemetery east of Lawton.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Nancy June Woodward Hill, 67, Comanche, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Duncan. She was born April 8, 1951 in Lawton to John Calvin and Elsie (Harbor) Jenkins.

Nancy married her first husband, Bill Woodward, in 1968 and was married for 17 years. She later married Danny Hill on February 16, 1990 in Lawton. Nancy was a radio advertiser and worked for several radio stations including, KSWO, Foxy 92, The Breeze, Lite 94 and Magic 95.

She enjoyed camping and boating at the lake, trips to new places and discovering things to see. One of her favorite places to eat was Niño’s Mexican restaurant where she enjoyed drinking margaritas. She had a sarcastic sense of humor, teasing and playing around.

She was well known for not being on time for anything! Nancy was an avid animal lover and had many pets. She loved interior decorating and growing her many collections of keepsakes, memorabilia and anything she looked at as beautiful.

Above all else, her pride and joy in life were her kids and grandchildren. She cared for others and took Dwayne Jones into her home when he was a teenager and finished raising him. She taught all of her children right from wrong, how to love and most importantly to have a sense of humor about life and each other.

Nancy is survived by her husband Dan of the home, three daughters, Cheri Hensley and Michael of Oklahoma City, Dawn Scott and James of Lawton, Diana Niswonger and Troy of New Paris, Indiana, three sons, Billy Woodward and Allison of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dwayne Jones of Dallas, Texas, Darrin Hill and Brandie of Hastings, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren, Audriana Hensley, Justin Scott and Carlee, Megan Hill, Shelby Niswonger, Taylor Scott and Crystal, Madisyn Hensley, Lucas Niswonger, Erin Scott, Holly Hill, Everett Woodward, and Connor Woodward, five great grandchildren, Copen Scott, Hudson Hensley, Kahne Scott, Kamdyn Scott, Chloe Carroll, sister, Darlene Hernandez and Alex of Oklahoma City, brother, Gene Cowan and Beth of Lawton, sister-in-law, Barbara Jenkins of Oklahoma City and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Bill Woodward, brother, Bob Cowan and wife Vi, brother, Newt Jenkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
