Patricia Ann ”Teet” Abbott, 82, of Bancroft, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 22, 2019 at home with her family by her side. Teet loved to sing and was a member of Bancroft Church of God Mission, where she sang in the choir. She was an avid WV Mountaineer fan and worked at Thomas Memorial Hospital for many years.

She retired from Heck’s Department Store. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald L. Abbott; her very dear sister-in-law, Carol Sue Casto and special nephew, Timmy Casto; sisters, Hermia Wagner, Sue Miller and Cora Legg; brothers, Francis and Dane Casto. Born December 9, 1936 in Raymond City, she was the oldest of seven children of the late Flavious and Oma Dunn Casto.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Joyce A. Abbott of Bancroft, Brenda Abbott-Fowler and, her favorite son-in-law, Albert of Red House; brother, Paul Edward Casto of Black Betsy; and her faithful four-legged companion, Laci. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield with Pastor James M. Legg officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.
