Patsy Jean McCumons May 29, 1930 – January 12, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Patsy Jean McCumons, age 88, of Marlette, MI passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hillside Adult Foster Care in Decker, MI. She was born May 29, 1930 in Sandusky, MI daughter of John “Bill” and Estella (Rouke) Kraft. She graduated from Sandusky High School with the Class of 1948.

Patsy married Lorn Campbell in 1949, Homer Wilhelmson in 1963 and William P. McCumons in 1993. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. Patsy was a seamstress at Eastman’s Mattress Factory, a clerk at Huffman’s Variety Store and May Sentry Hardware and dairy farmer for Wilhelmson farms.

She loved spending time with family and friends, sewing, furniture reupholstering and reading. Patsy is survived by her son, James L. (Julia) Campbell; five grandchildren, Tony (Amy) Diegel, Teresa Slack, Trever (Heather) Campbell, Tharon and Tehya Campbell; seven great grandchildren, Landin, Macy and Skylee Diegel, Haili Burda, Savannah Slack and Brayden and Sophie Campbell; one great great grandson, August Riley; one sister-in-law, Pat Gorsline Kraft; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Estella Kraft; husbands, William P. McCumons, Homer Wilhelmson and Lorn Campbell; three brothers, Gerald, Max E. and Robert Kraft; one sister, Merle Cumper; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Schneider Kraft.

The family will receive visitors from 4 – 8 PM Monday, January 14, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and from 10 AM until time of the service Tuesday at the church. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Hope Lutheran Church 2510 Juhl Road, Marlette, MI. Burial will follow at Marlette Cemetery, Marlette, MI.
