She was born to John and Elizabeth Berlin on October 22, 1921. Pauline married George Henry Stratton on November 20, 1941.

She was very active in her church, loved gardening, loved to travel especially to Florida, and most of all, loved being with her family. Pauline was always doing for others and showing the love of Christ in her life. She retired after 30 years as a desk clerk at Lapeer County General Hospital.

Pauline lived in Fostoria, MI for 51 years, residing the last 15 years in Bay City, MI with her daughter, Evelyn and husband, John. She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn (John) Wall of Bay City, MI; two grandchildren, Andy (Bridget) Wall of Linwood, MI and Lisa (Jay) Richards of Gardner, KS; six great grandchildren, John IV, C.J., Joshua, Elizabeth, Tiffani and Tori; grandchildren, Leo, John, Vicky, Gary and Terri Stratton, Jim and Larry Kiefer, Crystal Tepering, Dawn Daughtery, and Debbie Lauria; and nephews, Edmond Stephens, Dan (JoAnn), Dave (Gertie), Paul (Karen) and John (Lyn) Berlin. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Stratton in 1997; three sons, Bernard, Leo and Lynn Stratton; one daughter, Esther Kiefer; and three grandchildren.

The Family will receive visitors from 3 – 7 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Avram Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Avram Funeral Home, 6028 Lincoln Street, Mayville, MI 48744 with Pastor Raymond Hall officiating. The family will be receiving visitors from 10 AM until service time.

Burial will follow in Watertown Township Cemetery in Fostoria. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice. Friends may share an online condolence at www.
