Obituary for Ralph E. Grunden Ralph E. Grunden, 63, of York died on September 2, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Carol J. (Weidner) Grunden, together they celebrated 39 years of marriage. Born in Columbia on May 28, 1955, he was the son of the late Charles D. and Beulah M. (Landis) Grunden.

Ralph worked at Aesys Technologies for over 30 years. He was currently employed as a carpenter for ABM Services at Caterpillar. He was a loving and faithful husband, father and friend.

He enjoyed woodworking and won several ribbons for his handicrafts at local fairs. He also loved visiting New Hampshire. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew T. Grunden of York and Christopher D. Grunden of Hallam and a brother, Charles A.L. Grunden of Greencastle.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin F. Grunden and Barry L. Brownwell and two sisters, Alma M. Orwig and Nada V. Skiffington. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
