Obituary for Regina D. Dayhoff Regina D. Dayhoff, 91, of Country Meadows, Shiloh, died peacefully, Sunday, October 28, 2018 at PNC Memorial Hospital. Born in Atlantic City, NJ on September 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Regina (Huber) Cottrell. Regina was the wife of the late Harry W. Dayhoff; with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Regina retired from Bank of America after over 30 years of service. She was honored many times for her excellence within the company. Regina served as a volunteer for the Red Cross and the York Hospital.

She was also very active at Country Meadows, working in the gift shop and participating in many activities. Regina is survived by her daughters, Kathaleen R. Ludwig and her husband, Larry and Karen L. Brenner and her husband, Jack; her brother, Frank Cottrell and her grandchildren, Stacie A. Hoover and her husband, Travis, and Chad A. Brenner. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Sydney Hoover and Jacob Brenner.

Regina was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Cottrell; her sister, Marcella Groome, and her beloved granddaughter, Stephanie Brenner. In keeping with Regina’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Donations in her honor may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406 or the American Red Cross, South Central PA Chapter724 South George Street, York, PA 17401 or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PA Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
