Obituary for Ataullah A. Rahman II Ataullah A. Rahman II, affectionately known as “Ata”, of Columbia, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. He was born on July 17, 1984 to Coleen Rahman (Moore) and the late Ataullah A. Rahman. Ata served in the U.S. Navy from 2003 to 2007.

He was an avid Eagles fan, and enjoyed watching his nephews play football. Ata also loved playing card games, board games, and spending time with his family. Whenever you saw Ata, he had that notorious big smile on his face.

Surviving is his mother, Coleen Rahman of Columbia; sisters, Eugenie Simmons, wife of Ronnell Simmons; Sonia Henderson, wife of Tony Henderson; and Shahada Rahman, fiancé of Charles Simms, Jr. all of Columbia; brothers, Benjamin Casiano of Washington D.C. and Olandis Baker, fiancé of Danielle Waters of Columbia; and host of nieces and nephews. Ata was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Casiano and his sister, Shariffah Rahman. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market St., York, PA with the Reverend Adrian Boxley, Sr. officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St. York, PA 17403.
