Richard Keith Yommer, 55, of Friendsville, MD, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, at his residence. Born March 21, 1963, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of Shirley (Resh) Yommer, Grantsville, MD and the late Richard Yommer. Mr. Yommer was a certified blaster for Wampum Hardware Co

He was a member of the NRA and was an avid hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed the woods. Along with his mother, he is also survived by his step-son, Cody (companion, Trish Kelly) Sisler, Morgantown, WV; one brother, Randy (Jan) Yommer, Grantsville and one sister, Jennifer (Randy) Durst, Grantsville. Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.

Stephen Yelovich officiating. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church, c/o Barbara House, 8803 National Pike, Grantsville, MD 21536.
