David Charles Kinzey, 73, of Grantsville, MD, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at his residence. Born November 11, 1944, in Harrison City, PA, he was the son of the late Sheldon and Helen (Frazee) Kinzey. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Kinzey and Richard Kinzey, Sr

Mr. Kinzey was a truck driver for Teamsters Union Local 453 and UPRC. He was a member of Casselman Valley Sportsmen’s Club, who enjoyed car swap meets and flea markets. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Darlene (Durst) Kinzey; two sons, David Allen (Missy Fazenbaker) Kinzey and John (Vickie) Kinzey, all of Grantsville; three daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Hopkins and Dawn (Rick) Rafferty, all of Frostburg, MD; Linda (John) Bonner, Kerens, WV; two brothers, William Kinzey, Alexandria, VA; Richard Kinzey, Jr., Grantsville; two sisters, Patty Wright, Harrison City, PA; Janet McCoy, Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, Katrina, Amber, Andrew, Greg, Chris, Ashley, Casey, John Michael, Savannah and Anthony; 14 great-grandchildren and his devoted dog, Patches.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Harry Paterson officiating. Cremation will follow services.
