Bonnie Louise Wilt, 82, of LaVale, MD and formally of Grantsville, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD. Born August 22, 1935, in Confluence, PA, she was the daughter of the late, Sylvester and Mary Edna (Ruby) Skinner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Wilt; two sons, Donald Roy Wilt and David Loy “Flakey” Wilt; 12 brothers and sisters.

Bonnie was a homemaker, who enjoyed bluegrass music and traveling. She was a member of Confluence V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Ray Wilt, Confluence, Billie Joe Wilt, Rockwood, PA and Robert Len Wilt, Swanton, MD; four daughters, Betty Lue Tressler, Fort Hill, PA; Barbara Lee Truman, LaVale; Peggy Sue Brown, Grantsville and Ellen Kay Spiker, LaVale; a sister, Janet Metheny, West Salem, OH; 10 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A. 179 Miller St., Grantsville, MD, on Monday, June 4, 2018, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Collins officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
