Obituary of Riemundo “Ray” Ramos Riemundo Sanchez Ramos, 69, of Bay City, our caring, helpful, friendly, and outgoing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home. Ray was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 28, 1948, the son of the late Adolfo and Margarita (Sanchez) Ramos. Through mutual friends, Ray met the former Anita Balderas.

They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on July 16, 1979. Their marriage was blessed with 38 years and countless memories. Throughout life, Ray worked as a crane operator.

He enjoyed making jerky, fishing, and playing both horseshoes and darts. Above all, his family was his greatest life accomplishment. He will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered for generations to come.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Anita and children: Tina Ramos (husband, Steven), Lupe Noyola (husband, Santiago Jr.), Riemundo Ramos, Jr. (wife, Sandra), Sabino Ramos, and Bobbi Jo Ramos; in-laws, Pedro and Francisca (Vasquez) Balderas, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, five sisters, five brothers, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Ray was welcomed home to heaven by four siblings. Riemundo’s family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Vigil for Ray at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd.

, Hampton Twp. On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, Ray will be taken to All Saints Parish (St. James Church), 710 Columbus Ave. , Bay City, where visiting will continue from 10:00 AM until Riemundo’s 11:00 AM Funeral Liturgy.

Fr. Jose Maria Cabrera will officiate with the Rite of Committal to follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
