Ruth G. “Aunt Betz” Osterburg, 92, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018. Born October 6, 1925 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L., Sr. and Sara (Shaffer) Graybill. She was also preceded in death by husbands Boris G. Popoff and Karl Osterburg; step children Linda Seman and Karl Osterburg, Jr.; brothers Harold, Clayton, Franklin and Joseph, Jr. Graybill; and sisters Fannie Wagner, Mary Bennetch, Dorothy Graybill, Sara Bomberger and Anna Graybill.

A retired registered nurse from the Lebanon VA Medical Center, with 30 years of service, she was a graduate of Hershey High School, Harrisburg School of Nursing, and Lebanon Valley College. She was a member of Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a life member of the Lebanon YMCA, and former board member of QUEST, Inc., Lebanon. Surviving are her step son-in-law John A. Seman; step grandson John K. Seman; step granddaughter Mary Ann Kweeder; two step great grandchildren; niece Marianne Russell; great nieces Amanda and Katie Russell; and many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 4, 2018 at her church, 5501 Old Locust Lane, Harrisburg. Viewing will be held 6:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Friday at the church. Interment in Broadview Cemetery, Hershey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation or her church.
