Sally H. Drummond September 3, 1933 – May 16, 2018 Longtime Sierra Vista resident Sally H. Drummond, age 84, of Sierra Vista passed peacefully on May 16 at the Canyon Vista Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Pennsylvania, Sally came to Sierra Vista in 1970 as a military wife. Her lifetime love of horses made her an instrumental member of the Sierra Vista Riding Club for over 45 years, running queen contests, rodeos, and a myriad of horse events for the community to enjoy.

She was an avid trail rider and competed in several endurance riding events throughout the state on her beloved Arabian horses, and rode the trails all over southeastern Arizona with her good friends. Her love of horses was passed to her children and grandchildren, many of whom remain active in horse events. She spent many years working in the local real estate business and was an active member of the Sierra Vista Chamber of Commerce during that time.

Sally is survived by her son, Chris Drummond (Cindi) of Benson, two daughters, Heidi and Tami Drummond both of Sierra Vista, brother, Rick Holman of Seattle, Washington, four grandchildren, a great grandson,and her best friend of 70 years, Jane Cain, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Margaret Homan, and a Grandson, Kyle Neufang. Services for Sally will be held at 10 a.m. on May 26 at Country Estates Southern Baptist Church, 5700 S Highway 92.
