Terrence “Terry” B. Faucett August 10, 1949 – April 29, 2018 Terrence B. Faucett passed way at home unexpectedly on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the age of 68. Terry was born in Dexter, ME. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Faucett and mother, Waneta O. Faucett; mother-in-law, Marlie L. Koester.

Terry is survived by his wife, Karin and two sons, Jason P. Viljac-Faucett and Cohen D. Faucett (Stephanie); Father in Law, Adalbert Koester and brother in law, Michael Koester; and his beloved English Bulldog Nicky. Terry retired as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW4) from the U.S. Army in February 1993 having served 24 wonderful years. He served multiple tours in Vietnam with the 23rd Infantry Division where he was awarded with two bronze stars for heroic and meritorious achievement in a combat zone.

Throughout his career in the Army he attended Boston University and later received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He continued to serve in various positions as a government contractor in Sierra Vista until he retired in 2015. Terry loved ALL sports but especially enjoyed coaching and mentoring the local youth in Soccer.

He coached numerous soccer teams (The Rolling Thunder, The Eagles, the Aces) and ultimately the Sierra Vista Freedom Traveling Team before becoming Buena High Schools Head Varsity Soccer Coach. Another one of his passions was watching and cheering for the Green Bay Packers (Go PACK GO! ) He recently took up hiking with his dear friend John and accomplished numerous hikes throughout Southern Arizona.

He truly enjoyed the outdoors. Terry always acted selflessly and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the community. His great sense of humor and mentorship to the youth of our community will be truly missed.

We loved him in life, let us not forget him in death.
