Samuel Scott Adams, 27, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2018 at his home in Marietta Ohio. His care and love for his family and his friends will always be remembered. Samuel was born to Wayne E. Adams Jr and Patricia Annette Corp on February 21, 1991.

He loved the outdoors, hiking and exploring. He enjoyed visiting with family and hanging out with friends. He always loved his animals.

He was raised in Cutler, Ohio and gratuated from Warren High School in Vincent, Ohio. After high school he joined the Army where he proudly served our country. He also worked for Par Mar, Barlow/Vincent Ohio, Napolis, Little Hocking Ohio, Walbon, Belpre, Ohio, Subway, Little Hocking, Ohio.

He enjoyed working with the public and visiting with all his customers. Samuel is survived by his father Wayne Adams of Cutler, Ohio; his 2 brothers, Matthew Wayne Adams (Ashley Rickard) and Isaac Lee Adams of Marietta, Ohio; and his paternal grandmother Lillian “Liz” Corp of Cutler Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia A. Corp and his uncle Russell Ray Adams.

At Samuel’s request he was cremated and his ashes will be buried at Decatur Cemetery (3214 OH-555, Little Hocking, Ohio 45742) with his mother at 1 p.m. on Thursday September 13, 2018, with full military rites. All family and friends are invited to attend. There will be a memorial in Samuel’s honor at the Parkersburg VFW Post 1212, (1630 Garfield Ave.

Parkersburg,WV 26101) on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 5 pm. Meats will be provided, please bring a covered dish. The family gratefully declines flowers but donations can be made in his honor to a veterans organization of your choice i.e. Wounded Warriors, Mission 22, Washington County Veterans Services.
