SFC (Retired) Bobby Lee Deats July 11, 1936 – January 24, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral service for SFC (Retired) Bobby Lee Deats will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Gaches, Pastor of First Baptist West officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the funeral home. The wonderful congregation that Bobby belonged to, will be providing a luncheon for family and friends at First Baptist West at 12:00 pm prior to the service. Please join us before the service to honor and remember our father and friend.

SFC (Retired) Bobby Lee Deats, 82, Lawton passed away quietly at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born July 11, 1936 in Warrenton, Virginia to Aubrey James and Fannie Pauline (Cooper) Deats. He served his country for 36 years in the United States Army and in Civil Service.

He was stationed at Fort Sill when he met his wife of 49 years, Dorothy J. Jackson. She passed away October 4, 2016. Survivors include his son Bobby J. Deats and wife Brandy of Lawton, 5 daughters; Marqueta P. Deats and Vince Guerassio of Lawton, Sheila Kay Armondi and husband Douglas, Sr. of Lawton, Elizabeth E. Marshall of Aransas Pass, Texas, Linda Diane Passagaluppi and husband Bobby of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Billie Jean Dodson and husband Michael of Fort Stockton, Texas and numerous grandchildren; Douglas Armondi, Jr. of Oklahoma, Jennifer Jennings of Virginia, Michael and Michelle Jennings of Virginia, Kyle and Stefany Jennings of Virginia, Andrew and Stephanie Deats of Oklahoma, Morgan Love of Oklahoma, Amber Cartwright of Kansas, Jami Harvey of New Mexico, Jena Harvey of Texas, Jori Harvey of Texas, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Dorothy, two sisters, Ruby and Charlotte, two brothers, Robert and Freddie, grandson Aaron P. Deats and a great grandson Jayce Wadowski.
