Obituary for Sharon “Sherry” Louise Johnson Sharon “Sherry” Louise Johnson, 82, of Grand Island, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at CHI-Health St. Francis. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2 pm at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

A gathering of friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service. Sherry was born on August 15, 1936 in Hastings, NE, to Oscar and Genevieve (Hutchinson) Reimers. She was raised in Grand Island, but graduated from high school at Principia in Sl.

Louis, MO. Sherry then attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. On October 25, 1959, she was united in marriage to E. Glenn Johnson.

Together, the couple developed Meadow Lark Estates. Sherry was a member of the Wednesday Book Club, The Saddle Club and at one time the Liederkranz. She will be remembered for always being the one in charge, as well as her love of movies, Broadway shows, and her great sense of humor.

Sherry enjoyed planting, land scaping, drawing, and painting. Those that will forever Cherish her memory are her son-in-law, Randy Wenz; grandchildren, Nick Wenz and Griffin Wenz; and her lifelong friend, Toni Mayer. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her daughter, Jordan Wenz.
