Obituary for Steven M Cochran Steven Cochran, 46, of Grand Island passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5 to 7 on Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home.

Dan Naranjo will officiate. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Steve was born on September 16, 1972 in Grand Island, son of Micheal and Janet (Curtin) Cochran.

Steve was a lifelong resident of Grand Island, he graduated with the Grand Island Senior High class of 1991. He was employed for a time with Sonic and for several years as a dishwasher at Grandma Max’s. When the State Fair moved to Grand Island, Steven helped park cars.

Steve enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Royals and of course, Husker Football and Volleyball. Steve adored all animals and love his cat. He enjoyed computer games and listening all types of music.

As a night owl, Steve loved to study the stars and enjoy the night sky. Steve found the joy in the simple moments and his love for his family will be missed. Steve always kept a smile on his face and looked for ways to help.

It was through this helpful spirit that he chose to be an organ donor. Steve is survived by his parents; sister, Rhonda Smith of Milligan; nieces, Kinsey and Angela Gaede; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Angela and Sherry Cochran; grandparents, Bernard and June Cochran and Duane and Marjorie Curtin.
