Shirley was born November 24, 1931, in Miami, Arizona, to Frederick Fritz and Alice McIlveen. Her life was dedicated to serving others.

Even in her later years, she was continually looking for opportunities to make others happy. She was married to Keith Blair for 69 years and they made their home primarily in Heber, Arizona. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints shortly after marrying Keith and served in many positions in the church including a full time mission in Newfoundland, Canada.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, to garden, to feed anyone who walked in her door, and was a big Arizona sports fan. She has eight children: Rick (April) Blair of Nutrioso, Mike (Valerie) Blair of Mesa, Steve (Nancy) Blair of Heber, Vance Blair of Snowflake, Elden (Jackie) Blair of Snowflake, Allyson (Ed) Hunt of Chandler, Shireen (Hollis) Larson of Chandler, and Samantha (Kiley) Crosby of Gilbert. She has 34 grandchildren, 101 (and a half) great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren.

She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Pioneer Park Chapel on January 19, 2019.
