Stanley E. Dean, 88, passed away at on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in Century Assisted Living in Carbondale. He was born in Agra, Oklahoma, on April 20, 1930. His wife, Patsy Dean, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son Derrick Dean, his daughter in law Karla Dean, granddaughter Nikki Dean, and great granddaughters Emma and Raven. He also had many supportive family members and friends. He was well liked in the community and was noted for his captivating smile.

He had a way of leaving an impression on an individual, when they met him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Burial was in McKinney Hill Cemetery, Carbondale.
