Stephen D. Hake, 62, of Windsor, died peacefully, Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in Columbia on June 19, 1956, he was the son of the late Carl D. and Louisa (Scantling) Hake. Steve was the husband of Donna Lee (Myers) Hake.

Steve graduated from York County VoTech, and was a truck driver and Teamster early in his career. He later was a union carpenter, working on many of the area power plants. He was a member and vice-president of the Windsor Fish and Game.

He volunteered with Boy Scout Troup #6, teaching survival skills. Steve was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Steve was very artistic, he especially loved to draw and do wood carvings.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Some of his favorite times were in the wilds of Pennsylvania at his camp in Potter County. Steve is survived by his children, Jessie Hake, Abbey Hake, and Alexander Hake; his grandson, Benjamin Hake; his brother, Mahlon Hake; his sister, Krysteia Hake; his half-brother, Carl D. Hake, Jr.; and his half-sister, Carla Keller.
