Raymond L. “Ray” Rosher, 76, died on January 23, 2019 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Dickensheets) Rosher of York. Born in York on February 25, 1942, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Kathryn Emeline (Decker) Rosher.

Ray was a machine operator at Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years. He was a 1961 graduate of Dallastown High School and served in the United States Army. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, where he sang on the church choir.

He also sang with the York Symphony Chorus. In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer McGuire of Beech Grove, IN and a grandson, Joshua McGuire of Beech Grove, IN and was an American father to Malik Balde and his wife, Fatimatou of Guinea. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 1775 East Market Street, York, PA 17402.
