Stephen E Freeman, Age 60, of Greenfield, passed away suddenly at work on Thursday, May 31st, 2018. Stephen was born in Arcadia, California on July 8th, 1957, to the late Earl “Bud” and Rosemary (Collins) Freeman. Stephen worked for many years at Airfoil Textron.

He had spent the last 10 years working in lawn care. He loved to make people laugh. He also loved spending time with all his friends.

He didn’t know a stranger and was always willing to offer his help to anyone in need. He was also an avid animal lover. He left behind 2 dogs Whitey and Koda.

Stephen is survived by his son, Clinton Freeman of Fortville, Indiana, Sister, Laura Longerbone, of Texas, Sherrie Winner, of Beaverton, Oregon, 5 grandchildren, and several loving friends and family members. Stephen was proceeded in death by his wife, Karyla Freeman, Father, Earl “Bud” Freeman, Mother, Rosemary (Collins) Freeman. Stephen asked that in his absence that you laugh, instead of cry, and remember all the fun adventures and stories that he used to tell.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home. Private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the donor’s choice.
