Thomas Gerald Bullion, Sr. age 78 of Richlands, Virginia passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Dorchester, Virginia and was the son of the late, Bernard Needham Bullion and Susan Mae Salyers. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Gerald had retired from the Town of Richlands as a general laborer. He was a longtime little league coach and enjoyed working with the youth. He was a lifelong resident of the area and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ann Bullion; sons, Jeffrey Lynn Bullion, Gregory Gerald Bullion and brothers, Joe Bullion and Roger Bullion. He is survived by: Sons: Thomas Gerald Bullion, Jr. and wife Judy of Johnson City, TN David Dwayne Bullion and wife, Melissa of Richlands, VA Mark Anthony Bullion and wife, Ruth of Richlands, VA Daughter-in-law, Regina Bullion of Suffolk, VA Eighteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends also survive. A graveside service for Thomas Gerald Bullion, Sr., will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia with Rev.

Rick Puckett officiating. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be Erik Burkes, Aaron Bullion, Austin Burkes, Chris Ruble, Dustin Ruble, Gregory Gerald Bullion, Jr., Paul Bullion, Scott Bullion, David Bullion and Scotty Hall.

A visitation service will be at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia on Monday evening form 6-8 pm. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside service may arrive at the funeral home by 12:30 pm to travel in procession to the cemetery.
