Mr. Thomas Lee Stutz, 71, of Adrian passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his Piedmont Atlanta Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Stutz was born May 18, 1947 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Edward Stutz and Leah Hope Thomas Stutz. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Eddie Stutz; sister, Judy Stutz.

Mr. Stutz served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division, after the army he moved south in 1973 and in 1981 he went to work for Plant Vogle working in Nuclear Maintenance, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed painting, woodcarving, fishing, hunting, restoring old cars, and was an avid race fan. Mr. Stutz was a member of the Main Street Cruisers, and a member of Norristown Revival Center for 36 years.

Survivors include his wife, Judy A. Stutz of Adrian; daughters, Melissa Colson (Ronnie) of Guyton, Kimberly Stapleton (Shannon) of Kite, and Angela Howell (Reid) of Soperton; sons, Tommy Stutz of Counce, TN. , Joel Stutz (Stacy) of Adrian, and Charles Stutz (Holly) of Dublin; brothers, John Matysik (Karen) of Russell, Illinois, and Bill Stutz of Freeman Spur, Illinois; sisters, Wendy Mitchell of West Frankfort, Illinois, Mary Stutz of Marion, Illinois, and Ruthie Shubert (Don) of Royalton, Illinois ; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Services will be at Norristown Revival Center 4:00 p.m. Monday May 28, 2018 with Reverends Jack Stafford, Darrell Stafford, and Larry Stafford officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2018 at Norristown Revival Center.

Pallbearers are Alrie Foxworth, Jason Mitchell, Peter Askew, Matt Collins, Robbie Urban, and Joseph Foxworth. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Lowery, Ronnie Colson, and Jimmy Brown. Condolences may be expressed at www.
