Obituary for William John Adams William John Adams, 82, of Bluff City, TN passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his home. He was born in Grayson County, VA on September 4, 1936, a son of the late William Page and Bonnie Osborne Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.

William was a resident of Bluff City for many years and was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a devoted dad, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather.

William is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Adams, three daughters, Teresa Uhl and husband, Dennis, Robin Montgomery and Shelby Jones; one son, Bill Adams; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Caris Hospice and the doctors at the VA in Johnson City, TN for all the love and care shown to William during his illness. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee Street, Bristol, VA 24201.
