Wilma J. Rains, 85, passed away at 9:58 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Wilma was born on December 5, 1933, in Granite City, Illinois, to Alfred Dotson and Essie (Dollans) Dotson. She was a homemaker.

She loved to go camping, fishing and especially loved riding motorcycles. Mrs. Rains was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly Pentecostal Church of Alto Pass, Illinois. Wilma married Earl Rains on November 8, 1952, in Granite City, Illinois, and he survives.

Other survivors include three children Terri (Mike) Bell and Kenneth “Yotty” (Brenda) Rains, all of Jonesboro, and Tim Rains of Anna; ten grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons Daniel and Steven Rains. Gravesite services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Walker Hill Cemetery with Rev.
