Agnes Louise’s Obituary MARION, VA Agnes Louise Pruitt age 66, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. Agnes was born in Smyth County, VA to the late Charlie Bill Armstrong and Neely Bentley Armstrong and was preceded in death by her sister Sherry Ann Armstrong and her special pet Ally. She worked at Visador for over 18 years and was a great cook.

She truly loved her grandkids and her hobbies included whatever her grandkids got her into. Survivors include, her husband of 49 years, Ralph Pruitt, Sr.; her children, Irene Ely and husband Thomas of Pennington Gap, VA, Otis Pruitt, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Jessie Pruitt of Marion, VA and Curtis Pruitt and wife Belinda of Marion, VA; her brothers and sisters, Jerry Armstrong of Marion, VA, Charlie Armstrong and wife Phyllis of Glade Spring, VA, Jim Armstrong and wife of Diana of Atkins, VA, Julia Tate and husband Teddy of Rural Retreat, VA and Billy Armstrong of Rural Retreat, VA; her grandchildren, Kendhal Pruitt, Luke Pruitt, Major Pruitt, Sarah Ely and Cash Pruitt; several nieces and nephews also survive and a special friend Ann Hayden also survive. Funeral services will be held at 7PM Monday, December 3, 2018, at the Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Thomas Ely and Pastor Steve Hutton officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM prior to services. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions can be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
