Obituary of Audra Michelle (Krause) Ahrens Audra Michelle (Krause) Ahrens, 51, of Esville, our generous and happy wife, mom, daughter, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend passed unexpectedly on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Audra was born in Bay City on December 6, 1966, the daughter of Robert and Maria (Elizando) Krause. She graduated from John Glenn High School and was currently employed by Morley in customer relations.

Audra enjoyed ice fishing and was known for her larger than life sparkle and love of her family. Her son, Joshua Velasquez, who survives, was the light of her life. Audra also leaves to carry on her legacy, her mother, Maria Krause; husband, Duane Ahrens, Jr., whom she married on August 9, 2014, and his children, Duane Ahrens, III (Stephanie), Kayla Haby (Sylvain), Kevin Ahrens (Kayla); grandchildren, Trace, Pierce, Roslyn; her sister, Nicole Moure-Jones (Jonathan) and their son, Sebastian; Joshua’s father, Michael Anthony Velasquez, mother and father-in-law, Pat (Joe) Badour, and in-laws, Lisa (Perry) Tacey, Lynn (Rich) Haga, Lanette (Michael) Cnudde; special aunt and uncle, Karen & Theodore Nelson, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Audra was predeceased by her father; infant daughter, Alexis, and father-in-law, Duane Ahrens, Sr. A Life Celebration will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to JW.org. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at www.
