Barry Joel Hause August 04, 1951 – January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Barry Joel Hause, 67, of Telford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Lou Ann (Reynolds) Hause for 40 years. Barry was born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania to the late Walter Hause and the late Ida Veronica (Williams) Hause.

He graduated from North Penn High School, class of 1969. Barry worked as an assembler for the former Gasboy International in Lansdale, as a cabinet maker for Woodway Manufacturing Company in Hatfield, as a window builder and designer for Pella Window & Door Company in Valley Forge, as a custom cabinet maker and designer for the former Wright Custom Contracting in Ambler, PA, and most recently in the hardware department of Home Depot in Souderton. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, biking, bird watching, stargazing, and going to the Poconos.

Barry was an avid billiards player and enjoyed teaching the game to others. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, woodworking, sketching, drawing, painting, playing chess, and watching the Phillies & EAGLES. In his younger years, Barry enjoyed playing baseball and bowling in a league at Lans-Bowl.

He was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. Barry was a devoted family man. He was genuine, easy going, kind, caring, and believed he had a great sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by his two daughters, Nicole J. Emery & husband, Nicholas of Fleetwood, PA, Ashley E. O’Hara & husband, Jonathan of Harleysville, PA; four grandchildren – Allison, Madeline, Jason, & Alexis; his sister, Geraldine Hoepfl & husband, Paul of Lansdale, PA; and his brother, Walter Hause of Bartow, FL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964, followed by an informal visitation from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Penn Foundation, P.O.
